Australian Tourist Board website replies…

There’s an email been doing the rounds for quite sometime – which always makes me laugh every time I see it… Here it is – these , if the accompanying text that goes with it is correct, are genuine enquires sent through the Australian Tourist Board website – with there draft replies. How true it is I don’t know, but they are pretty funny- got to love those Aussies, they do have a tendency to tell things the way they are…
Q: Does it ever get windy in Australia? I have never seen it rain on TV, so how do the plants grow? (UK)
A: Actually, we import all plants fully grown and then just sit around watching them die.
Q: Will I be able to see kangaroos in the street? (USA)
A: Depends how much you’ve been drinking.
Q: Which direction is North in Australia? (USA)
