So finally the skies are open!

It’s been a strange week. Living as we do on a holiday island ’somewhere in the Atlantic’, this week has been strange with the effects of the eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland. Who would have thought that this would have caused more chaos in air travel than 911, and have such far reaching knock-on effects many thousands of miles away.
Many of our neighbour (as others across Europe and beyond) have had their businesses hurt badly as an after effect. It’s not just the airlines financially affected. Read the rest of this entry »
