Spartacus: Blood and Sand
Spartacus: Blood and Sand – simply has to have been the best thing on TV for an age…! The first series has had everything – made much in a similar style to 300 - there’s violence, plenty of it, loads of sex, intrigue, emotion and a fantastic series of Machiavellian twists and turns in the plot.
And, of course lets not forget the eye candy – plenty for both guys and girls – and some gay friends (as you’ll understand when you see it if you haven’t already), are rather taken with it too. Lawless (formerly Xena and D’Anna in Battlestar Galactica) is as horny as ever. John Hannah as the devious Batiatus for me has hit the peak of his career – his portrayal of the character is the best I’ve ever seen him. Read the rest of this entry »
