Cesar Millan – How to Raise the Perfect Dog
I’ve talked a bit recently about the new puppy and the ensuing training – here’s my copy of Cesar Millan’s “How to Raise the Perfect Dog”, the second of the two of his books I bought recently, as I found it this morning… I love the irony of the ‘crime’….

To be fair to Cesar, as I said in the recent review I wrote, I really like his methods and am trying to follow them – and also to be fair to the dog – this is just a minor set back as on the whole he’s done pretty well.
What Cesar did convince me of in his writing is not to follow my previous instincts and give the dog a tap on the nose with the book! Instead I just looked at him and got him to roll over and show me his tail between his legs – it really is far more effective than even the mildest form of violence.
So – what’s the next minor set back I wonder?
