She was (much to my disappointment and dismay) talking about her Rabbit – an item that I suspect, not without some evidence, most thirty something women who have ever watched Sex in the City posses. So, next evening she turns up with her ‘friend’ in her handbag wearing a long coat with nothing beneath it but her sexiest underwear and me, her, and her Rabbit had a rather ‘fulfilling evening’ all round…

It was early days for us at the time and later that evening we got to discussing the ‘friend’. We’d both not long come out of relationships and had both had the ‘I’m out it – time for a younger model’ phase. She was, and still is one of mine…. And she was telling me that between times her younger men had been horrified at the sight of her toy, and how shocked she was that I wasn’t intimidated at the introduction of this ‘third party’ to our sex life. To be honest, I’d never really given it much thought – toys were always a part of it for me – any guy who’s got anything about him is well aware that a little help in the bedroom doesn’t go amiss – there’s not many women who are guaranteed to hit the heights they want 100% of the time based on just our own abilities. It’s simply a biological fact we’re made differently… There’s no shame in it!

That Rabbit ‘died’ a couple of years ago – don’t ask! And she missed it dearly… So, in a moment of hedonism recently I decided to acquire her a replacement as a gift. And, have also got another couple of other items to introduce to her in the coming weeks (which I’ll return to later) from the Eden Fantasies website. Things have been a bit quiet on ‘that front’ for us recently, partly biological (I’m told), and a lot to do with pressures of work. Buy boy did she like her new friend… Of course I’m not going to go into the details of what ensued. But her intitial meeting sure did put the sparkle back in her eyes. I don’t know if the design has changed, but she did comment that there were more controls on it, and that it was heavier than her old one. Or, perhaps her now long deceased ‘friend’ was an imitation… Not sure – but do I care! It had the desired effect. I hope the other items I have stashed away have the same effect this did.

Guys, those of you who are threatened by toys like this anyway, get over it. Get her one – it’ll be the best $50 (or thereabouts depending on the model) you ever spent. Take my word for it. Hell, if I was single I’d buy one just to keep in my bedside cabinet to entertain any company I had. The Rabbit surely is a girls best friend – and damned site cheaper than diamonds!

You’d have to assume though – with having parents like Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh – it must have been inevitable that she has this sort of sex appeal.
