So finally the skies are open!

It’s been a strange week. Living as we do on a holiday island ’somewhere in the Atlantic’, this week has been strange with the effects of the eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland. Who would have thought that this would have caused more chaos in air travel than 911, and have such far reaching knock-on effects many thousands of miles away.

But we come back after two weeks and say, “The weather was good, the hotel was lovely.” “How long did you go for?”

“Two weeks.”
