Woman of the week – Angelina Jolie
What is it about Brad Pitt? Every time I develop an interest in a woman he’s in there! First it was Jennifer – then Angelina after she caught my eye in Tomb Raider as Lara Croft… Sadly I don’t have Brad’s looks, fame, money or talent so must have escaped Angelina’s notice at the time!
What isn’t there to like about Angelina? She has it all – looks, intelligence, she’s sassy but likeable – and one thing I particularly like is that she uses her fame to benefit others where she can through her humanitarian work with UNHCR and others. And not only that – through her widely publicised adoptions.
Let’s be honest – and give credit where it’s due (unlike some of the media coverage) – even the combined fortunes of hers and Brad’s can’t solve the problems of the world but in adopting children as they have, they get to give just a few individuals a quality of life they quite literally never could have dreamed of whilst highlighting to others the causes behind those adoptions. I like them both – they are trying to make a difference with the gifts they have been blessed with. Which is far more than I would imagine the journalists who write about them critically for it in the gossip columns and elsewhere.
Keep doing what you’re doing Angelina (…and Brad you lucky SOB
) – you’ve got my vote if you ever need it….

Woman of the week – Neve Campbell and Denise Richards
Okay – so this isn’t strictly speaking the woman of the week, it’s the women of the week. Talking to a friend this week I was reminded of the film Wild Things
made in 1998 which, obviously brought these two women to mind. There’s always a knowing look in mens eyes when this film crops up – what man hasn’t pictured himself sandwiched between these two as Matt Dillon’s character was. Though personally if it were me I’d have liked to sail off into the sunset with both of them in tow rather than get murdered!
If you’re a man – and you have never seen this film you have seriously missed out – don’t think about it just buy it NOW! You won’t regret it – fantastic entertainment – on so many levels…

Neve Campbell

Denise Richards
And thy’re both still looking pretty damned good now too!
Woman of the week – Kate Beckinsale
It’s very hard to find a bad word to describe Kate, the woman has it all – good looks, talent and from what you see of her interviewed seems a really nice person. At 36 she puts many younger women than her to shame.
I first noticed her in the film Van Helsing. She’d have been hard not to notice with such a horny costume – and she filled it so well!
I can’t say I think her film career has been the greatest – but whatever she does she looks great and has lit up some of the most dismal movies for me!
