A lamp located in one of the room’s corners is a great addition, both in its practical utility and the visual effects it creates. If you are either reading or just entertaining company, the light of a lamp will provide a more satisfactory sensation than a strong ceiling light. If you are looking for a special effect, try covering the lamp with a dark colored piece of cloth.

Hanging artworks in your bedroom is a good way to personalize it as well. When you purchase a painting or a professional photo, make sure the color and the theme fits the general one of your room. At the same time, make sure that piece of art says something about your personality. Controversial art is always a good conversation starter, but it is advisable that you know a thing or two about what it represents.

So you’ve been designated the best man at your best friend’s wedding and you’ve got to give a speech in front of a bunch of people you hardly know. Great. What are you going to do? First, grab a beer and face the music. This isn’t something you can or should rush into. Next, grab a pencil and pad, and start jotting down three of the funniest times you remember having with your friend and his fiancé. For each time, describe in detail;

(1) the events leading up to the funniest moment,

(2) the actual event that made the moment funny, and then

(3) the valuable lesson you learned about those two which made that moment special enough to indicate they were indeed, made for each other.

The last part of each moment you listed is critical because it reinforces why the couple is getting married. You definitely don’t want to poke fun of the couple here. Newlyweds can be more sensitive than a busted TV antenna. Instead, you want to turn a humorous moment into a beautiful, meaningful moment that justifies the couple’s reason for committing to each other. If this couple met after crashing into each other at a ski resort for example, poke gentle fun of the accident in the speech before describing how the two were able to conquer even the most slippery slopes together. Follow up with a statement that you believe they’ll continue along a path of similar conviction and that no mountains are too high for these two to curb.

The strategy in this approach will help you make a sincere, heartfelt statement about your friend’s life-long decision. The humor will lighten up what could be a dreadfully serious moment for some, and the understanding you provide will make both your speech and the actual wedding day even more meaningful as well.

The secret lies in becoming a natural with girls. A ‘natural’ is a guy who can attract almost any girl he interacts with. He can also get girls on dates anytime he pleases. I know that may sound far-fetched, but here’s the reality:

a) Almost all guys are naturally attracted to physically good-looking girls. If a beautiful girl walks into a room, you can bet that all the guys in the room will be sexually attracted to her.

b) Almost all girls are naturally attracted to certain male behaviors and personality traits. If a confident guy walks into a room, regardless of his looks, you can bet that all the girls will feel a certain level of sexual attraction for him.

He’ll then need to ensure that he continues to behave in an attractive way if he wants his pick of the best girls available. For example: Being confident, being great at conversation, getting along with others in social situations, being an alpha male, knowing how to flirt and use humor, displaying attractive body language – and so on.

d) On the last 5-10 pages of the notepad, make a list of areas that you have ‘achieved’ and those which ‘need some work.’

For example: Achieved – I am now great at approaching girls and starting up simple conversations. My body language is a lot more confident now.

Needs some work – My conversations need to include more flirting. I need to maintain more eye-contact when interacting with girls. When I started to write things down, I got more focused and achieved my goals faster. It’s up to you.

c) The level at which you are starting this journey. Okay, this is a big one too.

The reality is that some of you reading this may have been in a number of relationships, never been with a girl, rarely approached girls, only been with girls who have ‘picked you up’ (i.e. they basically handed themselves on a platter to you), you’ve been married and the list goes on.

But, it doesn’t really matter how many girls you’ve been with. What matters is this: Are you currently doing the things that naturally attract girls to you? Are you currently approaching girls in the correct way and then progressing things toward a date?

If not, then you must decide to take action. Learn all the things you need to do to attract girls, such as: Building confidence, mastering your conversation skills and learning how to flirt.
